, that our bare skin was meant to touch the earth, and in doing so, we are elevating our bodies, minds and souls to a higher, healthier level?

New emerging research is proving what traditional healthcare systems, such as Ayurveda, have known for thousands of years, that touching the earth has many health benefits.

As it turns out, Earth has a negative charge, and is not neutrally charged as was originally believed. This means that it has an abundance of electrons. As our bare skin touches the earth, our skin begins to absorb electrons.  This has a very powerful effect on our health, and well being.

Here are just a few of the reasons why touching the earth, daily, is something we want to do.

 

Touching the earth is soothing. 

It can reduce stress, it is calming and can help us to sleep.

New research shows that Earthing, also known as Grounding leads to an increase in parasympathetic (calming) nervous system activity, and reduces sympathetic (stress-response) activity. The end result of this effect is that your entire body (not just your mind) calms down.

Additional research shows that Earthing normalizes both cortisol secretion, a hallmark of stress activity in the body, and melatonin secretion, which is a very important component, in achieving a good night’s sleep.

Touching the ground electrically balances us!

Research has shown that, If a person with an excessive negative charge, or an excess of electrons, steps onto the ground, the excess will be absorbed into the Earth. If a person has a positive charge or a deficiency of electrons, then the Earth will supply what is needed to achieve homeostasis (balance). This is a truly amazing discovery!

Thanks to the progress of science, we now better understand how oxidation is a natural process of inflammation. Inflammation, called “the silent killer,” is the leading theory on the underlying cause of many diseases (such as cancer and heart disease). The problem of inflammation lies not in a scarcity of electrons, as in oxidation, but in an excess of electrons.

When you ground yourself, you are utilizing nature’s most powerful form of antioxidants and anti-inflammatories: free electrons. The effect does not need to come from an injection or a drug; it comes directly from the Earth.
